- • Every started hour is billed. Pay only for what you use.
- • We place a temporary card hold when you start and release whatever isn't used.
- • Return the power bank to any Hive station to end your rental.
- • If it isn't returned within 8 hours it is considered lost: you are charged $13.50 for the rental plus a $20.00 replacement fee ($33.50 in total).

Questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can rent as a guest with just a card. An account is optional and gives you rental history and saved cards.
How does the payment hold work?
When you start, we place a temporary hold on your card (a pre-authorization). It grows as the rental runs, and when you return the bank we charge only the actual rental price and release the rest.
Where can I return the power bank?
At any Hive station with a free slot, not only where you picked it up. Just push it into an empty slot until the station confirms.
What if the power bank doesn't come out?
If a bank fails to eject, the hold is released and you are not charged. Contact us from your rental page if anything looks wrong and we'll fix it.
What if I don't return it?
After the maximum rental time the bank is treated as lost and a replacement fee applies (see pricing above).
Which phones does it work with?
All of them: each power bank has built-in USB-C, Lightning and micro-USB cables.
